Columbia, MO – Two members of Kappa Alpha fraternity at UM-Columbia have been charged for their part in setting off a cannon at their frat house.
The explosion blew out the window of an apartment across the street and also sent a piece of the cannon through that building's roof.
Police say the cannon exploded last week while the two men were loading it with fireworks.
Kappa Alpha has suspended the MU chapter, pending the outcome of the investigation.
Chapter president Seth Fagan and member Daniel Dunn, both 21 and MU students, are accused of reckless exploding and third-degree assault.
