St. Louis, MO – 
A national conference joining scientific innovation with financial investment has concluded this week in St. Louis.
Executives from some 65 biotechnology companies met with venture capital firms in hopes of gaining funding for their products.
About a quarter of those firms were from St. Louis, where biotech is quickly becoming the region's dominant business identity.
