About 40 book-crossers from around the country will be in St. Louis this weekend for their first-ever conference.
"Book-crossing" is a kind of free chain letter for books that was started by a Kansas City man, Ron Hornbaker.
People register their books and get a tracking number on the website. They then drop the book somewhere. Hopefully, someone else will find the book, read it, then write about finding it online.
KWMU's Tom Weber spoke with Hornbaker about the adventure of following your books around the world.
