St. Louis – A Kentucky minister was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail and three years of probation in a hit-and-run accident that killed a blind teenager in St. Louis.
Bobby Lynn Crittendon also was sentenced to 500 hours of community service.
The minister pleaded guilty in February to a felony count of leaving an accident scene. He admitted hitting and killing 16-year-old DeJuan Banks of Cool Valley last August.
Crittendon eventually turned himself in to police.
Banks was killed on South Grand avenue near the Missouri School for the Blind.
