Chicago, ILl. – The Associated Press has found that staff with the Illinois Gaming Board ranked Isle of Capri as last among three bidders for the state's last gaming license.
But Isle of Capri is the company that won a vote from the Gaming Board last month to put a casino in the Chicago suburb Rosemont.
Isle rejects accusations that the board's vote wasn't fair.
But Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan says the company still hasn't answered what she calls serious and significant questions.
Officials are investigating whether the vote was legitimate.
The state for years has been trying to get its last license out of Rosemont because of allegations of ties to organized crime.
