St. Louis, MO – New government data show the percentage of flights that arrived on-time slipped slightly at Lambert Airport last year.

Through November, 84% of all flights in 2003 were on-time. That's the 11th best on-time rate among the 31 busiest U.S. airports.

In 2002, the airport had a slightly higher on-time rate of 85%, which ranked sixth. Only Denver's airport was able to keep its on-time rate above 85% during both 2002 and 2003.

The slip comes in a year when American Airlines cut its flight scheduled by more than 200 flights. But that didn't happen until November, which means the data only include one month's worth of fewer flights.
