St. Louis, MO – The 8th Street ramp to eastbound Highway 40 is now closed; crews could start tearing it down today. That depends on when the Cardinals finalize a financing plan for a new stadium.
The Post-Dispatch reports that will happen today. The ramp carries about 5,000 cars a day but has to go to make room for the $400 million stadium, which will be squeezed in between Busch Stadium and Highway 40.
