St. Louis, MO – 
Crews are expected in Forest Park today to start constucting a Ferris wheel for New Year's Eve festivities. The wheel will be just one of many parts of the large party planned to ring in 2004.
But this year's Ferris wheel has some wondering what happened to the first Ferris wheel that ever stood in Forest Park one hundred years ago. And as KWMU's Tom Weber reports, that wheeel's saga has become the stuff of legend.
