St. Louis, MO – A new survey shows University of Missouri President Elson Floyd is one of the best-paid public university system leaders in the country.
The Chronicle of Higher Education says only 13 of 39 system presidents in the survey made more this year than Floyd, whose salary is $350,000.
Four of those 13 who earn more than Floyd this year have salaries supplemented by private sources such as university foundations.
Among system leaders who draw all their salaries from public funds, Floyd comes in at tenth place nationally.
