St. Louis, K. City Ranked as 'Allergy Capitals'

St. Louis, MO – Missouri's two largest cities are among the worst for allergies. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America says Kansas City ranks ninth and St. Louis is tenth in its listing of the nation's top 50 fall "allergy capitals."

The list ranks the cities where it's hardest for people with allergies to live in or visit. St. Louis was ranked third last spring.

The Washington-based foundation's study was part of their nationwide Allergy Action Plan to help consumers recognize, prevent and safely treat allergy symptoms.

Leading the rankings was the Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York area in Pennsylvania.
