St. Charles, MO – Officials in St. Charles Wednesday broke ground on a new $71 million dollar convention center and hotel. The hotel will be paid for with private money; a hotel/motel tax passed by St. Charles voters in the early 1990s will pay for the convention center.
Both are expected to open in 2005.
