St. Louis, Mo. – The rain and mud have been a problem for many Labor Day activities across Missouri. Rain washed out the annual Springfield Labor Day parade.
The parade in Downtown St. Louis stepped off as planned this morning from Broadway and Market. While 33 labor unions took part in the soggy celebration, the rain kept much of the anticipated crowd at home. The route ended at 14th and Market Streets.
