St. Louis, MO –

Water levels on the Mississippi River will be lower Thursday than in recent days. Drought conditions are partly to blame, but a lawsuit over the nearby Missouri River is also bringing water down.

Business leaders in St. Louis say the low water will hurt the local economy, but others aren't buying those arguments. KWMU's Tom Weber prepared this report.
