Westfall Wants Moratorium on Garbage Dumps
By Tom Weber, KWMU
Clayton, MO – St. Louis County Executive Buzz Westfall wants the county council to hold off issuing permits for garbage dumps for six months.
He says the moratorium would give county government time to decide whether there should be more restrictions on trash stations.
Fred Weber, Inc. wants to build a trash station in Oakville. Westfall is opposed and many area residents have expressed concern about where it would be built.
