St. Louis, MO – The victim is apparently the first person ever fired upon in a St. Louis area task force's 12-year history. Authorities say Darius Saulsberry was wounded in an elbow after trying to speed off through a yard in Pagedale. He allegedly was driving threateningly toward an FBI agent trying to help arrest him. St. Louis County Police Lieutenant Jon Belmar says it's the
first time anyone with the task force -- which includes St. Louis city and county police, and the FBI -- has fired during more than 2,000 arrests of violent fugitives since its 1991 founding.
