When there's a possibility that some schools could see funding cuts as part of the state budget... Illinois lawmakers sit up and take notice.
They had a chance Tuesday to question the governor's budget advisor and the state's schools chief about education funding proposals in the governor's budget plan.
The hearing was a rare committee meeitng that included every member of the Illinois House. Illinois Public Radio's Bill Wheelhouse reports.
