St. Louis, MO –

Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis will host a festival of art, culture and music this weekend.

KWMU's Hillary Wicai spoke with Jim Cloar, the president and CEO of Downtown St. Louis Partnership, about the festival and what reopening Washington Ave. means for downtown revitilization.

The ACT One Festival and the annual Spring Downtown Housing Tours are this Saturday and Sunday (May 3,4); they start at 11:00 AM.
