Phoenix, Ariz. – While President Bush was speaking in St. Louis, presidential hopeful Dick Gephardt was bashing the President's tax plan during a conference call with reporters.
The St. Louis Democrat says that under the Bush economic plan, unemployment is up and retirement savings are down.
While I'm pleased that President Bush is meeting the hardworking men and women at Boeing, who've done so much to add to our national defense, it's important to remember that more than 95,000 Missouri workers have lost their jobs under this administration's watch, Gephardt said.
Gephardt says that while Bush has made several trips to St. Louis and middle America, the President is not listening to middle-income Americans.
