Jefferson City, MO – Missouri will begin issuing new driver's licenses next week in certain parts of the state.
The new licenses will have security features that are designed to cut down on the production of counterfeits.
The new security features will include a second, smaller picture at the bottom of the license, words that appear only under ultraviolet light and a bar code on the back.
The new licenses will be available in Jefferson City, Fulton, Columbia and St. Louis later this month. The rest of the state's licensing offices will be phased in through September.
