St. Louis, MO. – 
A new exhibit at the Missouri History Museum explores four black communities in the area during the mid-1900s.
It's called "Through the Eyes of a Child: Growing Up Black in St. Louis, 1940-1990."
It's an audio tour of the Ville, Carr Square, Kinloch, and the southern part of East St. Louis.
KWMU's Tom Weber recently spoke with the exhibit's director, Jackie Dace, at the History Museum. She says visitors will use headsets to listen to narrators recall growing up in those parts of desegregated St. Louis where everyone was black.
The exhibit opened March 16 and runs through February, 2004. For more information, click here.
