Columbia, Mo. – Students at the University of Missouri may soon have to pay more to go to school.
University of Missouri President Elson Floyd will ask the Board of Curators to approve a 3.2% tuition increase, which would start in June.
In-state students taking 15 credit hours would pay just more than $2,500; that number does not include other student fees.
If the increase is approved by the Board of Curators, fees would rise to $167.60 per credit hour for an in-state
undergraduate. Spokesman Joe Moore says the hike would generate just over $10 million.
