Washington, D.C. – The Pentagon says B-2 stealth bombers at
Whiteman Air Force Base, in west-central Missouri, are under orders to move overseas, closer to Iraq.
Today's report says the B-2's will be going to a base in Britain, and a British base on the Indian Ocean island of Diego
Garcia.
Due to security concerns, there's no word on when the high-tech bombers will head out from their base near Knob Noster.
The US military build-up for war has topped 200-thousand troops in the Gulf region.
And Iraq's Saddam Hussein is said to be moving some of his best-trained forces into new positions.
