St. Louis, MO – Somebody out there has a piece of paper worth $21 million.
Missouri Lottery official say one of the two winning tickets in the Saturday Powerball drawing came from a store in south St. Louis. The winner has not yet come forward.
The other winner was from the state of Louisiana.
Each winner will receive their money in 30 annual payments of about 700-thousand dollars a year before taxes. Or, each can choose a lump-sum payment of $11.3 million before taxes.
The winning ticket in St. Louis was sold Saturday at Johnny's Market on Gravois Road. The store will receive a $50,000
bonus for selling the winning ticket - the standard bonus in Missouri, regardless of the value of the ticket.
