Sunday, NAACP president and CEO Kweisi Mfume was in St. Louis as part of a series of events marking Black History Month.
Mfume recently attended the NAACP's national board meeting, where a number of Bush administration policies were discussed. KWMU's Kevin Lavery spoke with Mfume about some of those issues, including the president's opposition to the University of Michigan's affirmative action admissions policy, which the NAACP endorses.
