St. Louis, MO – Opponents of a potential war with Iraq plan to canvass four St. Louis area neighborhoods tomorrow to drum up support for their cause. The Instead of War Coalition will pass out yard signs and ask people to send postcards to Congressman Dick Gephardt. More than 260 canvassers will knock on doors in North St. Louis, the Central West End, University City and Webster Groves. The group will begin in the morning and gather for a large rally at Pilgrim Congregation Church at 1:30 p.m.
Tomorrow's activities are part of the Worldwide Day of Action against War, which will include more than 300 towns and cities around the globe.
