St. Louis, MO – Vehicles headed to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport may be subject to a search. As of Monday afternoon, Lambert is complying with a new directive issued by the Transportation Security Administration as it steps up to the national orange terror alert level. Airport Director Leonard Griggs says every vehicle will go through a checkpoint, but not every vehicle will be searched.
In order to accommodate the new checkpoints, the Westbound I-70 exit ramp to Airflight Drive at Lambert will be closed.
