Nashville, Ill. – One southern Illinois town will remember the space shuttle Columbia Tuesday night.
The grandparents of Columbia pilot William McCool were from Nashville, about 50 miles east of St. Louis. Several of McCool's relatives still live in the area.
McCool himself reportedly spent many summers on his grandparents' farm. A memorial service Tuesday evening will include a book for people to sign that will be sent to the McCool's family in Texas.
