St. Louis, MO – Snowfall this morning has so far been to the south, with five inches reported at Farmington and other heavy snow reported in Potosi and Ste. Genevieve.
"The storm really hasn't hit the St. Louis, St. Charles area yet," said Mike Fitzpatrick of the Missouri Dept. of Transportation earlier this morning. But he says crews have still worked to be better prepared for when the storm arrives.
"We're trying to treat the bridges and overpasses before the rush hour traffic gets on it and hopefully with the traffic on it that will keep the bridges from being slick."
MO-DOT expects 4-to-8 inches in Jefferson County, and 3 to 6 inches in the St. Louis area later today.
