St. Louis – A man who climbed a construction crane early Monday morning caused headaches for some drivers in Jefferson County.
Highway 141 near Interstate 55 re-opened just before 7 a.m. after a man who climbed a crane climbed back down. Police arrested him immediately.
Authorities were called around 4 this morning amid reports the man was yelling and cursing. They weren't sure if he was armed, so they closed part of Hwy. 141 as a precaution.
Emergency crews were able to talk the man down around 6:45 a.m., and the highway reopened.
The crane is being used for a construction project in Arnold.
