St. Louis – Two people were injured, one seriously, in a car crash early Tuesday that left the vehicle hanging over the edge of the Poplar Street Bridge, which crosses the Mississippi River at St. Louis.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. The accident happened around 1 a.m. Police said the car crashed in the westbound left lane, slammed into the median and came to a stop on the edge of the bridge.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
