Saint Louis, MO – For nearly ten years now, The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in Creve Coeur has worked towards its mission to improve the human condition through plant science. What started out as a staff of only a few has now become a major player in the development of more nutritious, drought resistant food crops.
As KWMU's science reporter Julie Bierach explains, the center's progress and challenges over the last ten years reflect those facing the biotechnology field.
