St. Louis – Letter carrier Terry Marcrum left a rehab hospital today, almost a month after being shot in the head while delivering mail in south St. Louis.
Marcrum, 44, is still recovering from the attack but is well enough to be discharged from St. John's Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital. Speaking haltingly to reporters today, Marcrum said that he's grateful for all of the support that he has received.
"I thank God everyday that I'm alive and I try to share the happiness with other people," he said.
Adrian Renard Mabry, 23, was arrested for the April 14th shooting and is being held on charges of first degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
