St. Louis – The Kirkwood city council will meet Thursday night for the first time since a gunman killed five city officials.
Among the issues to be discussed at the 7 p.m. meeting is what to do about the vacancies created by the deaths of council members Michael Lynch and Connie Karr.
Also absent will be Mayor Mike Swoboda, who faces a long recovery after being shot twice in the head.
The meeting will not be at City Hall, but instead at the Kirkwood Community Center.
