SAINT LOUIS, MO – About a hundred St. Louis builders, environmentalists, and regional leaders gathered at the Danforth Plant and Science Center Monday to take part in a conference on "green building." Sponsored by Missouri Congressman Russ Carnahan, those in attendance discussed the benefits and economic impact of this new type of construction.
KWMU's Science reporter Julie Bierach was there and spoke with Ralph Bicknese, an architect who also serves on the executive committee of the local chapter of the US Green Building Council.
