New laws would help rape victims in Missouri

St. Louis, MO – Last year, 1,500 rapes were reported in Missouri. But officials say that figure represents about 1 out of every 10 cases that actually took place.
As KWMU's Adam Allington reports, a set of new state laws aims to encourage more victims to come forward by offering greater protection and stiffer punishments.
