St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis School Board is expected to decide tonight (Tuesday) whether to close Cleveland Naval Junior ROTC Academy in south City and move those students and staff to Madison School.
Superintendent Creg Williams says the crumbling 93-year old building is not suitable for students, and needs too many millions of dollars in repairs.
Cleveland is the area's only military-style high school, complete with uniforms. That's expected to continue if board members approve the move.
Students would start at Madison starting this fall.
