St. Louis, MO – St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in north St. Louis drew its usual crowd of more than 100 people to services on Sunday.
That follows the announcement Friday that a priest and the six-member board of directors at the traditionally Polish parish have been excommunicated.
The severe penalty bars the seven from taking part in church sacraments and functions and from holding positions within the church.
Archbishop Raymond Burke and the board have been feuding for almost two years over control of the parish's property and assets.
