St. Louis, MO – UM-St. Louis and Washington University have teamed up to help area non-profit groups find volunteers to serve on their boards.
The universities are using the Internet to match volunteers with possible non-profits to serve.
Organizers hope to reach about 200 organizations and 300 potential volunteers within the first year. So far, about 30 nonprofit groups and more than 100 possible board members have filled out online surveys to try to find the best matches.
