St. Louis, MO – The board that runs Metro is expected to vote today (Friday) on a proposed rate increase.
It would be the second such hike for the agency in as many years. The last hike took effect in June 2004. Metro says high gas prices are to blame for this new hike.
If approved, the cost of a Metrolink ticket would go from a $1.50 to $2 next year. Bus tickets would increase from a $1.50 to a $1.75.
Current Fare | Increased fare this year | Increased fare next year | |
