St. Louis – Jim Scott says St. Louisans have long lost the connection to their two great rivers.
Scott teaches film and theater at Saint Louis University, and just finished producing a new documentary called Confluence.
The film looks at how the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers shaped the city over the centuries, and how people in turn reshaped the rivers. It opens Thursday night (5/19) at 7 at the Missouri History Museum. The screening is free.
Scott told KWMU's Matt Sepic he hopes the film will spark a new dialogue about this region's future.
