St. Louis, MO – President Bush will use a visit to Madison County next week to push for changes in medical malpractice suits.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Thursday that further details on the President's trip could come soon.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other business groups say doctors are fleeing the Metro East because they fear frivolous lawsuits.
But trial attorneys say the blame directed at them for high malpractice insurance rates is unfair.
