st. louis, MO – A former KWMU jazz show host has died.
Walter Parker hosted "Jazzstream" on Sunday nights for more than a decade.
He started hosting at KWMU after retiring as a forecaster at the National Weather Service.
Parker was 86. A memorial service is planned for Saturday (Oct. 2) at the First Presbyterian Church of Ferguson at 2:00 p.m.
