St. Louis – Two Hollywood studios are suing an on-line retailer for allegedly selling DVD-copying software that had been barred by two federal courts.
The lawsuit from 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures seeks a court order blocking Los Angeles-Based Technology One from further sales of the software.
It's the first time a movie company has sued a retailer of DVD X-copy. It's made by 321 Studios of St. Charles.
A worker at Technology One says he has not seen the suit, and that it was never told to stop selling the software.
