In recent months, some Illinois doctors say they've had to leave their practices because of the cost of liability insurance.
That has prompted calls at the State Capitol for caps on damages paid out in lawsuits, and for reform of the entire medical liability system.
Illinois Public Radio's Bill Wheelhouse reports that the governor and lawmakers are working on a solution.
