St. Louis, MO – Today is Election Day in Missouri.
There are no elections in St. Louis City, but St. Louis County voters will vote on a proposed sales tax for county parks (Proposition P).
Many school districts in the region are asking permission to increase taxes or borrow money in the region.
They include Fort Zumwalt in St. Charles County, Washington in Franklin County, Hillsboro in Jefferson County, and Hazelwood in St. Louis County.
There are also a number of school board, mayoral, and city council races to be decided. St. Peters Mayor Tom Brown is up for re-election against Shawn Brown (no relation).
St. Peters voters will also decide whether to impose a hotel tax.
Polls are open until 7 tonight.
