Barksdale Air Force Base, La. – The court-martial of an Illinois Air National Guard pilot is now set for April 5th in Louisiana.
St. Louis native Major Harry Schmidt accidentally bombed Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan in 2002, killing four.
A military investigation found Schmidt should have flown away instead of attacking the convoy he says he thought were Taliban firing on him. If he's convicted of dereliction of duty, Schmidt could spend up to six months in military prison.
