St. Louis, MO – A Roman Catholic priest in Eureka, Mo. proclaimed his innocence again from the pulpit on Sunday. This time, it was in reference to a second sexual abuse allegation in two years.

Father Alexander Anderson told parishioners of Sacred Heart Catholic Church that the St. Louis Archdiocese had assured him of its support and his position at the parish.

That angered victims' groups, who say Anderson should be forced out now to avoid placing any more children at risk. Anderson has sued one of his accusers for defamation. That accuser then counter-sued.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis says Anderson is being supported pending an investigation.
