Edwardsville, ILl. – An Edwardsville alderman was released from jail on Monday after posting bond. Alderman Herb Clay is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor resisting a police officer. He
is also charged with fleeing and eluding an officer.

The 53-year-old pleaded innocent to the charges during an arraignment on Monday. He was then released after posting $500 bond.
