In response to the state of Missouri's economic crisis, a group of about 80 organizations throughout the state have joined forces to form the Missouri Coalition for Budget and Policy Priorities.
The group has watched $2.2 billion be cut from the state budget and is concerned about the impact of cuts on the state's neediest people.
KWMU's Hillary Wicai spoke with the coalition's new full-time Executive Director Amy Blouin about what the coalition thinks it has to offer during the economic crunch.
