Columbia, MO – University of Missouri president Elson Floyd has ordered a comprehensive investigation of the entire men's basketball program.
Floyd says his investigation will expand an ongoing investigation by the athletic department. Allegations of academic cheating recently surfaced when the ex-girlfriend of former Missouri point guard Ricky Clemons said he got answers to tests and improper help writing papers.
UM is also cooperating with an NCAA investigation.
Floyd's investigation will be led by Michael Devaney, a professor of electrical engineering and former chairman of the campus faculty council.
